二、课程简介(Course  Descriptions)

有机化学实验是一门独立的基础课程,由性质实验、基本操作实验、制备实验、设计性实验四部分组成。该课程目的在于训练学生基本操作技能,让学生掌握简单有机化合物的合成、纯化及结构测定方法;加深学生对化学基础理论、基本知识的理解,提高观察、分析和解决实际问题的能力,培养学生严谨的工作作风和实事求是的科学态度。

As an independent fundamental course, Experiments in Organic Chemistry includes four sections, identification of organic compounds, acquisition of basic laboratory skill, preparation of organic compounds, and design of organic experiments. Students are supposed to acquire the basic experiment skills and knowledge for preparation, purification, and identification of regular organic compounds. The course gives students a deeper understanding of fundamental experimental organic chemistry and exposes students to each technique in a systematic and in-depth way. Also, it trains students with the problem-solving ability as well as with strictness and scientific attitude.

五、考核与评价方式(Course Evaluation)

考核与评价方式:结合实验预习、实验操作、实验结果、实验报告、纪律卫生等情况给出平时成绩;平时成绩占总成绩的70%, 期末操作考核占总成绩的30%

The assessment consists of laboratorial preview, laboratorial skill, experimental results, the final written report, and the conduct of the duty on sanitation etc, which in total counts for the score for practical. The final score is derived from practical (70%) and final exam (30%).
